SKETCHING FOR EVERYBODY

Portraits Made Possible, Attaining A Likeness

All ages, all levels of experience welcome!

This session, two sitters are modeling for us.
Our focus will be on drawing versus other mediums. In drawing there is nowhere to hide. Seeing two faces side by side gives us a chance to discuss and note differences of character. Attaining a likeness by contrast, how fun!

This session includes drawing experiments and exercises to enhance the way we approach capturing a likeness.

Handouts on facial features and the cranium mass will be provided, along with outstanding examples from the old masters to inspire and demonstrate how they approached drawing portraits.

I hope you can attend. There will be a 12 person cap to allow more one on one attention and a closeness to our models.
