“In the shadow of your wings I take refuge,
until the destruction is past.”
UPDATES TO ZOOM SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER SERVICE
BEGINNING ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 AT 11AM PDT
Starting September 5th we are updating our Zoom Link to accommodate the hour change from 10am to 11am PDT. If you are using a saved zoom link from previous Sundays, this coming Sunday you will need to access the Morning Prayer Zoom link directly below.
Because there is no Wi-Fi accessible at our outdoor amphitheater where we will be holding the in-person liturgy, we have no means of delivering a video of the sermon. We will only have the ability to send an audio version. I know this will be frustrating to some of you but I urge your patience as we attempt to transition safely to in-person liturgies. Over time, once we can move indoors, this will be resolved.
From this point forward the online Morning Prayer will begin at 11am PDT, even if the in-person liturgy gets canceled. In which case, all are invited to attend the 11am Morning Prayer on Zoom. This will ensure a consistent start time for the Zoom liturgy whether or not there is a local gathering.
Third Hour will begin at 12:30pm PDT on Zoom, for both distanced and in-person congregants. This will allow time for the completion of the online Morning Prayer service with a short break and will allow for our local members to make their way home or to a wi-fi area to participate. We will use the same Zoom link for the Third Hour as the Morning Prayer service.
We suspect there will be a number of issues that arise as we make this transition that will need to be adjusted and smoothed out over the next several weeks. Please keep our administrative and pastoral staff in your prayer as we work out these bumps. We love you all and are working hard to help us all ‘be church’ in a meaningful way. We are grateful that you have our backs!
