I am a proximate member of St.Columba's, having been drawn to this amazing, challenging and loving contemplative community during the pandemic. I've lived in Santa Rosa since 2000, where with my husband we've raised our two children- now young adults- and have become deeply invested in the community. CED is connecting me with people who both  listen to my fears and hopes around the immensity of climate collapse, and speak about their own-- a refuge of sorts. Serving on this council has enabled me to set forth on what I now see will be a lifelong journey of integrating spirituality and contemplative practices with practical, radical action for the love of the planet and all life.
