We are an inclusive contemplative community incarnating the Mystical Body of Christ in Word, Sacrament, and spiritual intimacy.
Be still and know that I am God.
UPDATES FOR IN-PERSON GATHERING FOR EUCHARIST
ON THE FIRST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 10:00AM
As you know, COVID-DELTA is on the rise even as vaccinations seem to be waning. It is our utmost concern to keep all members of the congregation safe during our worship. To that end, please observe the following:
Based on State, County, and Diocesan regulations all participants are required to show proof of vaccination. If you have already sent Anna your proof of vaccination you need not bring your card with you. If you have not done so, please bring a copy of your card for our records. If you are unable to be vaccinated, please reach out to me or Anna privately so we can offer safe accommodation for you.
All participants are required to wear masks during the liturgy. At the time of the blessing and reception of Eucharist, I will be masked and ask all congregants to do the same. You may remove your mask to consume the Eucharist once you have stepped away from the stage, then kindly replace your mask. The Eucharist will only be administered in the form of Bread.
Please keep a distance of at least six feet from all parishioners who are not in your ‘pod.’ During the exchange of Peace, we will bow reverently toward one another in lieu of our traditional St. Columba’s hug-fest. Hey! It’s a start!
Until it is safe to gather in-doors there will be no in-person coffee hour.
Third Hour will begin at 12:30pm PDT on Zoom, for both distanced and in-person congregants. This will allow time for the completion of the Morning Prayer service with a short break and will allow for (most) of our local members to make their way home or to a wi-fi area to participate. We will use the same zoom link for the Morning Prayer service so that distanced members need not change zoom locations.
