Sacred Revolution:
Unleashing Creativity & Joy on Our Quest for
Environmental Justice
with Mary DeMocker
Scientists say humanity has only a few years left to slash our carbon emissions nearly in half – or face irreversible climate tipping points. Many people now despair over our prospects, especially under the current political leadership, and don’t know how to help turn things around. Author Mary DeMocker shares ways caring people can feel inspired, joyful, and empowered while building a future that works for everyone. Learn creative ideas for protecting all present and future generations of life on Earth while deepening our connections to one another.
Mary DeMocker’s book, The Parents’ Guide to Climate Revolution: 100 Ways to Build a Fossil-Free Future, Raise Empowered Kids, and Still Get a Good Night’s Sleep  is a 2019 Oregon Book Award finalist and has been recommended on NPR and in The New York Times. DeMocker is the co-founder of 350 Eugene, with whom she led art-centered protests featured on PBS NewsHour, ArtCOP21, and in an Avaaz video shown to world leaders.
